Transparency & Engineering Integrity

At Netop Lab (netop.uk), transparency and trust are core values. To support the maintenance, hosting infrastructure, and ongoing research for my open-source tools, technical guides, and EVE-NG lab architectures, some links on this website are affiliate links.

This means that if you click on an external product link and make a purchase or subscribe to a service, I may receive a referral commission at no additional cost to you.

My Hands-On Recommendation Philosophy

I follow a strict “Tested in Virtualized Labs” policy before sharing any link or tool:

  • No Sponsored Hype: I never accept payment to write positive reviews or recommend products that I have not personally deployed, tested, or validated in my EVE-NG virtualized lab environments.
  • Strict Relevance: Every affiliate link strictly aligns with my core focus areas: Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, Cloudflare), VPS providers, Domain Registrars, Zero-Trust Tools (Tailscale), and specialized Network Automation tooling.
  • Cost Neutrality: Purchasing a product or service through an affiliate link will never increase the price you pay. In many cases, using my referral links or promotion codes may offer special discounts or extended trial periods.

When you click an affiliate link on netop.uk:

  1. Your browser is redirected to the official vendor or marketplace (Cloud Providers, Domain Registrars, SaaS Platforms).
  2. A temporary, anonymized cookie is saved on your browser by the vendor to attribute the referral to Netop Lab.
  3. Zero Personal Data Exposure: I do not collect, store, or process your billing details, credit card numbers, or personal identity during affiliate transactions. All purchases occur directly on the vendor’s secure system.
